Center for Cyber Security has created a guide on how to ensure that security is under control when you work from home.
Criminals take advantage of every opportunity. And, according to the Center for Cyber Security, there is a greater risk of being attacked during a crisis. If you sit at home and work, it is therefore important that you have security under control.

1) Pay extra attention to fake emails and text messages (phishing).
You will probably receive more emails than usual. You may also be working later or earlier than usual and you are sitting alone. Maybe you have outstanding plane tickets, answers from the hospital or other things that are preoccupying you. And you want to know more about what is happening with the coronavirus. All of this can make you lower the parades. Therefore, make an effort to hesitate before clicking. Think about it one more time. Find someone you can ask if you are in doubt about an email or text message.
2) Take care of your data.
Maybe you don't have access to your workplace's regular file drive when you work at home. But think twice and consult with the IT department before resorting to free services. It is better to wait for a solution approved by the IT department than to risk your data being on an insecure service. At worst, it could be illegal. Also, be careful about copying data to your personal computer. You may forget to remove them again, and it may also be illegal to have them on your personal equipment.
3) Think before you share.
Misinformation can be difficult to eradicate once it has been spread. Therefore, hesitate to share information that is not from the Danish authorities. If you want to share something, first check that the source is trustworthy. This applies to both the media and the people who speak out. If in doubt, don't share.
4) Establish good security routines.
Check that the software on your computers is up to date, and have good password security – also for your Wi-Fi. Try using a password manager and change the passwords that are not quite good enough, or where you have used the same password in several places.
Other good advice for you who work at home:
The same safety rules apply when you work at home as when you work in your company, so make sure you use the tools and communication channels your company makes available.
If your computer does not update itself automatically, you must e.g. make sure it happens yourself, and remember to have the password on your screen saver so that the computer is also protected at home.
