How the brain copes with change

How your brain handles change

From a psychological point of view, what buttons can/must be pushed to help bring about change? Here is an occupational psychologist, cand. Psych, Helen Eriksen's three commandments:

  1. State basic assumptions that work against the change.
  2. Remember the well-being of your employees - despite the crisis, it is still an important area to invest in. It motivates them and increases their performance.
  3. Use your whole brain and do something you don't normally do. After 8 repetitions, it triggers reward hormones – which make for happy and motivated employees.

See much more about your brain, how you can use your knowledge to boost your employees and ultimately your business.
